Richard Kerr continued his fine run at Caldwell Park by taking fourth place in Sunday’s Motostar race at the eighth round of the BSB Championship.

Kerr started fourth on the grid and held his position for the 12 laps, under severe pressure from his close rival in the Championship standings, fellow Irishman Eugene McManus.

The Kilmacrennan schoolboy didn’t make any mistakes when under attack and closed the gap to fourth place to just two points.

It was Kerr’s 4th race in a row that he beat his two closet rivals in the Championship.

Kerr and the North West Racing Team will he hoping the good run of results will continue in two weeks’ time at Silverstone.
