Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Wednesday, August 23.

 

Seamus SHIELS
The death has occurred of Seamus Shiels, Church Road, Milford. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ita, son Paul, daughters Avril and Louise, sister Sally, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at his home from 11.00am to 10.00pm on Thursday 24th August. Requiem Mass in St. Peter’s Church, Milford on Friday 25th August at 11.00 am followed by interment in Milford Cemetery. Family Time on the morning of the funeral, please. Family Flowers only – Donations, in lieu, to Donegal Cancer Society care of Mc Elwee Funeral Directors or any family member.

 

Vera HERRON (née McNeils)
The death has occurred of Vera Herron (née McNeils), formerly of Teelin, Carrick, peacefully at Killybegs Community Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Brian, Ardara. Sadly missed by her sisters Maggie (Teelin), Rose (Chicago), Monica (Chicago), Nora (Chicago) and Phyllis (Chicago) her brothers Sean (Chicago) & Kevin (London), all her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Removal from Killybegs Community Hospital on Wednesday, 23rd, at 6.30pm to St Columba’s Church, Carrick. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 24th, at 11.00 am in St. Columba’s Church, Carrick with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
