WATCH: Dramatic drone video depicts flood disaster in Buncrana

A shocking video shows the extent of the flood damage in Inishowen in the aftermath of the heavy rainfall which has plunged many parts of Donegal into disaster mode.

Videographer Adam Rory Porter at Windy Day Media charted the landscape from Swan’s Park in Buncrana up to Cockhill Bridge and further afield to document the extreme damage and conditions remaining today after a night of emergencies.

Scenes of mud covered ground, raging river waters and collapsed bridges show how an area that was once so picturesque was so suddenly ruined.

The video shows how much of a large scale clean up and repair operation is required in just one of many areas following the flash flooding of August 22nd.
