Chandpur has scooped their seventh gold medal in a row in the prestigious A Passion to Inspire Chef’s competition at the Taste of Donegal Food Festival.
To win gold, the chef has to receive a very high score, between 90% and 100%, from the World Judges who sample the chefs’ work.
The judges visit the restaurant and critique the chef on their cooking skills, amongst other important elements.
The incredible consistency demonstrated by Chandpur is down to Chef Rana Miah and Chef Shah Sultan.
Culinary wizard Rana won five medals in a row before passing the honour on to Shah, who has scooped the last two medals.
This is a huge honour for the Chandpur team who have all played a part in this wonderful success.
