Pettigo booked their place in the Donegal Junior B Football final against St Mary’s, Convoy thanks to a semi-final replay win over Red Hughs at Tir Chonaill Park yesterday evening.

Pettigo 0-16 Red Hughs 1-7

Following their draw last weekend, the teams had to go again and it was Pettigo who came from behind to win.

Red Hughs led 1-5 to 0-7 at half-time, but Pettigo had the edge in the second half.

Paul Robinson hit three points in the opening period and Pettigo ended with a good spread of scorers to see them through to the final.

Kieran McGee landed four points and Michael O’Riordan ended with five to his name. Red Hughs could only add two points to their tally in the second half.

Pettigo scorers: Michael O’Riordan 0-5, Kieran McGee 0-4, Paul Robinson 0-3, Kevin Kane, Adie Britton, Jarlath Leonard, Darren Johnston 0-1 each
