Donegal star Daniel O’Donnell has given fans an exclusive preview of the benefit concert which has been quickly organised for the Inishowen flood victims.

An all-star lineup will come together to perform at the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny on September 3rd 2017. All proceeds from the event will go towards the people and families devastated by the flash floods in Inishowen on Tuesday 22nd August.

Daniel said he hopes to see bus-loads of supporters making their way to the gig to enjoy the music and show solidarity to the communities left bereft by the natural disaster.

“I’m sure like myself you were all shocked and horrified,”Daniel said.

“We’re hoping there will be a great turnout to make this a successful event. I know that as well as the money raised, the very fact there’s a large number of people who are turning out and gathering together will give the people in Inishowen and further afield great hope that things are being done to make their plight heard, and just to make things a little bit more easy for them at this difficult time,” he said.

Superstar Daniel gave a preview of the fantastic lineup of Irish artists giving their time this weekend: Nathan Carter, Declan Nearney, Johnny Brady, Dominic and Barry Kirwan, Jacqui Sharkey and The Conquerors are all set to take to the stage to support the victims.

The doors will open at 1.30pm at the Aura Centre in Letterkenny on Sunday, September 3rd.

Tickets go on Sale on Monday through local outlets and at the Aura Centre. Tickets purchased at these local outlets will cost €30.

Tickets will also be available through Ticketmaster website midweek and will be subject to an added service charge.

All proceeds, after costs, going to the Red Cross. All artists have offered their services free of charge.
