Cara House Red Door prepare to move to new premises

The Red Door at the top of the Market Square is moving to the bottom of the Lower Main Street on first of October.

They explained that they will be developing a centre for adults in the former Driver Theory Test Centre from this October – it will allow courses and activities to take place throughout the day and in the evenings.

The move means that courses held in Cara House will be delayed until October (The Cara House programme will be available in mid-September).

Courses held in the Regional Cultural Centre and the Central Library will start immediately.

Children’s activities will remain in the Old Surgery, Castle Street and in the Concert Hall at Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál.

“This is an exciting time for Cara House and full of opportunities,” said Susan McCauley, Coordinator.

“We will be inviting members of the Letterkenny community to come along and share their ideas and expertise to make a vibrant resource fit for the town and surrounding areas,” she concluded.
