Energy firm sparks interest with unlimited electricity supplies

A new energy company is about to launch in Ireland that gives customers unlimited monthly supplies for a set fee.

Just Energy is expected to arrive this September, and shake up the competition with their unique ‘all you can use’ pricing system. As fears of rising electricity prices grow this year, this company is aimed towards budgeting families by offering fixed fees.

Householders will pay a set fee no matter how much energy is used, Independent.ie reports.

Customers pay tariffs starting from approx €60/month depending on their bands and average usage.

Just Energy (Ireland) Limited is part of Just Energy Group Inc., a publicly traded Canadian-listed company consisting of eight brands and serving almost 2 million customers across North America.

Tariffs can be set at 12 and 24 month schemes that remain fixed, so price rises are avoided for set periods.

Just Energy plans to offer a gas supply service alongside electricity in the future.
