Poll: Is it too early for shops to sell Christmas stock?

Christmas stock has hit the shelves across Ireland this weekend, with Arnotts, Brown Thomas, and Argos already unveiling their festive goods.

In Letterkenny, shops such as Dealz have begun selling Christmas decorations, tins of sweets, and festive treats.

A Donegal Daily reader said; “I’m all for planning ahead but I do think it’s far too early as they have just put out their Halloween stock too.”

On the other hand, some say that it’s good to be able to pick up bits and pieces during the months leading up to December to avoid the packed shops and to prevent a hefty bill hitting your bank statement in the one go.
