Sadness at passing of editor and hotelier Liam Hyland

There has been widespread sadness in Donegal at the news of Liam Hyland’s passing.

Liam Hyland (73) passed away earlier today.

Liam Hyland was the editor of the Donegal Town based Donegal Times, and ran the Central Hotel for many years.

Funeral arrangements are to be announced in the coming days, with a post mortem due to take place early next week.

Our condolences to Liam’s family and friends at this difficult time.
