Aidan Cannon saw his Milford side come out on top in a gripping Division 2 Minor Championship final on Saturday by two points.

Ryan McMahon scored 1-5 as Milford edged past neighbours Termon at O’Donnell Park and Cannon says they decided to look Termon in the eye for the second half.

“We pushed up on the kick-out to not give them the option to get out,” he said.

“We hammered the hammer in the midfield. We decided to go at their strong points. We said we’d go toe to toe with them in the middle.”
