DMG Motors launch new ŠKODA EcoGrant Scheme

DMG Motors have today announced the launch of the new ŠKODA EcoGrant Scheme.

The EcoGrant is designed to encourage the uptake of ŠKODA’s latest generation of lower emission vehicles among drivers in Donegal and across the country, with a focus on removing and recycling older Euro1-4 diesel emission standard vehicles.

EU1-4 diesel vehicles are generally vehicles registered prior to 2011. The EcoGrant is not just restricted to ŠKODA vehicles.

All vehicle brands are welcome and can qualify under the scheme. Customers in the North West can avail of the exclusive DMG Motors ŠKODA EcoGrant of up to €5,000 for vehicles that qualify for the grant.

“Once you drive away in your new ŠKODA, your old vehicle will then be brought to an End Of Life Vehicle Centre were it will be issued with a Certificate of Destruction to ensure it is removed from the road forever.

The offer varies from model to model with an EcoGrant of €2,500 provided against a Fabia, €4,000 against an Octavia and an EcoGrant of up to €5,000 against a Superb.

Speaking about the offer, Stephen McCaul of  DMG Motors said: “The ŠKODA EcoGrant offers customers with older vehicles the opportunity to change to one of our newer, lower emission and fuel-efficient models.

“Diesel vehicles prior to 2011 are often prone to costly servicing and maintenance so avoid the hassle and move to a more efficient ŠKODA model.

“We are also delighted to confirm that DMG Motors will provide an Exclusive Scrappage offer on all other vehicles including Petrol, EU5 vehicles and vehicles registered later than 2011.

“The very minimum you will receive under our offer is €1,500 for your old car with up to €4,000 for a ŠKODA Superb.”

The offer is open for all new ŠKODA’s ordered between 8th September and 31st December 2017. To make the offer even more attractive, DMG Motors are combining 3.9% PCP or Hire Purchase Finance on each of the vehicles ordered over the period.

For further details on the offer or if you are uncertain if your vehicle qualifies for the ŠKODA EcoGrant, contact DMG Motors on (074) 972 1396
