Pedestrian knocked down in Letterkenny

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being knocked down in Letterkenny this morning (Wednesday).

The incident occurred at around 9am on the Pearse Road approaching the Station Roundabout in Letterkenny Town Centre.

A female pedestrian has been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment. Gardai say the woman’s injuries are not believed to be serious.

The road has not been closed to traffic, which is said to be flowing as normal.
