Gardai believe the CCTV gang have struck again.

It follows a raid on the Super Valu store in Dungloe overnight.

The gang broke into the premises through the roof and then removed the CCTV system.

It is believed the same gang are behind recent break-ins to Eurospar in Laghey, Kernan’s Centra in Newmills and Bradley’s newsagency/post office in Killygordon.

In two of these robberies, access was also gained through the roof and the CCTV system removed.

A van belonging to Super Valu was also stolen but it has been located on the outskirts of the town later.

The scene of last night’s raid is currently preserved for a technical examination.

It is not known yet what was stolen from the supermarket.
