Traffic pandemonium sparks tailbacks in the Twin Towns

Roadworks in Ballybofey are causing lengthy tailbacks on roads in and out of the Twin Towns.

Motorists have expressed their frustration with the traffic jams as cars crawl through the busy towns of Ballybofey and Stranorlar this Friday afternoon.

Cars are said to be backed up as far out as the Kilross Junction approaching Stranorlar.

Temporary traffic lights are in place on the N15 Donegal/Stranorlar Rd at Ballybofey as roadworks take place on the route.

The roadworks notice is in place for this area until Friday, 6th of October.
