Listen: St Naul’s manager John McNulty looks ahead to Intermediate Championship final

St Naul’s looked dead and buried a fortnight ago when they trailed Gaeil Fhánada by six points at half-time in the Donegal IFC semi-final – but this Sunday it’s St Naul’s who take on Milford in the final.

St Naul’s staged a comeback that looked implausible at half-time and earned a replay, which they won in impressive style last Saturday.

Goals by Shane Conneely and Barry Rose gave St Naul’s a 2-14 to 1-9 replay win.

St Naul’s had sneaked into the quarter-finals thanks to a draw in Downings.

It has been a fine first year at the helm for John McNulty, with an All-Ireland Junior Gaeltacht crown won in June, having won the county version a month previously.

Now, McNulty is aiming to lead them to the Cathal McLaughlin Cup this Sunday in O’Donnell Park.

Listen to an interview below with the St Naul’s boss…
