The Patrick Gildea team have celebrated an incredible year in the Centre of Excellence with a stylish party and a special presentation to a valued colleague.
The multi award winning salon let loose and took some time to savour their success this year at the beautiful Castle Grove Country House Hotel.
Irish Hairdressing Federation Icon Patrick pulled out all the stops and treated his talented team to a wonderful evening filled with fabulous food, entertainment and of course great company in gorgeous surroundings.
The night was filled with fun, laughter and reflection on what has been a very special year – where the salon was recognised for its Customer Service with two awards and winning “Best Salon in Ireland” for the third year in a row – 2015, 2016 and 2017.
One of the highlights of the night was a special presentation to Artistic Director Noreen Gallagher who has been part of the Patrick Gildea Hairdressing Family for twenty years.

Commenting Patrick said “I have had the privilege of working with many great people over the years, some have moved on while others are still working with me today. It is a great testament to our team that we have maintained excellent working relationships and I am delighted to see so many of our team stay with us throughout their hairdressing career.
“I am honoured to present Noreen, with a token to thank her for her commitment and hard work over the past twenty years. Noreen is a wonderful person, a fantastic hairdresser- who has an incredible connection with both her guests and team members and even after twenty years she has such a passion to learn embracing training with great enthusiasm and pride at all times. We are delighted to have Noreen as our Salon Ambassador.”
A surprised Noreen was visibly emotional by such a heartfelt gesture and spoke candidly about her twenty very happy years as part of the Patrick Gildea Hairdressing Family- she thanked Patrick for his guidance and inspiration over the years and expressed her excitement about the future.
This is just another reason why everyone talks about this award-winning salon, if you are a guest here you will be familiar with the great atmosphere from the moment you walk through the doors – there is an abundance of energy, creativity and enthusiasm and while it is so professional it is by no means daunting – you instantly feel at ease and know that you are in good hands.
