A young girl was taken to hospital this morning following an accident in St Johnston.
The girl, a pedestrian, was struck by a passing vehicle at around 8.30 near to St Baithin’s Church.
Emergency services attended the scene and the girl, who had been on her way to get the school bus to Raphoe, was transferred to hospital.
She is said not to have suffered any serious injury, but has been treated for shock.
