Chloe Magee moves into last 16 in women’s doubles at Dutch Open

Chloe Magee and her women’s doubles partner, Olga Konon from Germany, are into the last 16 at the Yonex Dutch Open.

Raphoe woman Magee teamed up with Konon and they defeated home pair Selan Piek and Cheryl Seinen 21-18, 21-16 in a 41-minute game today.

Magee and Konon will now face Japan’s Ayako Sakuramoto and Yukiko Takahata this evening in the last 16, with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs.

Chloe and Sam Magee, in the mixed doubles, lost out to Russia’s Andrey Parakhodin and Natalia Rogova yesterday.

The Magees won the first game 21-14, but lost out in the next two, 21-16 21-14.

Joshua and Sam Magee were defeated by Chun Kang Shia and Wee Gieen Tan and in the men’s singles Joshua was overcome by Finland’s Kalle Koljonen 21-9 21-16.
