Kilmacrennan’s Richard Kerr ended his 2017 short circuit season with a double victory on home soil at the Sunflower Trophy Races at Bishopscourt in County Down.
The 17-year-old led both races from start to finish and won both by a margin of over 8 seconds.
Former British champion Christian Elkin was second in both races and fellow British Championship runner-up Scott Swann filled the podium places in third.
It was a great end to a fantastic season for Kerr who finished fourth in the BSB Motostar Championship.
