One striker in the Donegal League ran riot yesterday, scoring a stunning SEVEN goals.

Letterbarrow Celtic’s John Corley was in seventh heaven as he bagged a double hat-trick, plus another for good measure, in their 8-1 win over Gweedore United at Tymeen.

Corley netted a first-half hat-trick to put Letterbarrow into a firm command of the game, leading 3-0 at the break.

Corley added another just after the break before Gerard McBrearty got in on the act.

Corley managed to get in for another three, completing a memorable day at the office.

The win moved Letterbarrow into fourth in the table, five points from leaders Drumkeen United.
