Ardara Ladies overcome St Naul’s in U16 Division 2 final

Ardara Ladies have won the U16 All County Div 2 Championship after a hard fought win over St Naul’s in Glenfin this afternoon.

Ardara 4-10 St Naul’s 0-11
The 11 point winning margin was hardly fair on the Mountcharles girls who dominated for long periods of the game.
But goals win games and while Naul’s failed to finish four clear goal chances in the first half, Ardara took their two and led 2-05 to 4 points at the break.
St Naul’s were fired up after the break and closed the gap at one stage to just three points but Ardara’s player of the match Sarah Harkin proved the difference with two goals, the last one buried into the top right hand corner of the net.
