A speeding motorist was detected by garda traffic controllers in Buncrana accelerating far beyond the speed limit.
The Traffic Unit in Lisfannon last night caught a vehicle travelling at 155km/hr in an 80km zone.
The driver now faces a speeding fine. Gardai shared a photo of this incident as a warning to other drivers to obey the speed limit.
