The North West Women’s Super League will celebrate a successful first season tomorrow night with its end-of-season presentation evening.

The North West Women’s Super League, a coming together of the Donegal Womens and Inishowen Ladies Leagues, came into being for 2017, with the two Leagues merging to strengthen the women’s game at senior level.

Illies Celtic swept the boards in 2017, blazing through to win the League title with a 100 per cent record.

John Doherty’s Illies also won the Ulster Cup following a big final win over Lagan Harps.

The North West Women’s Super League’s Presentation Evening takes place at the Lake of Shadows Hotel, Buncrana at 8.30pm. Tickets cost €16.
