A teenager has been hospitalised after an accident on a quad bike.
The accident happened on in the main Buncrana to Carndonagh road close to Drumfries yesterday.
The 16-year-old was rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital with injuries which are not understood to be life-threatening.
The accident happened just after 5pm and the road was closed for a number of hours.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who was near the area at the time of the single-vehicle accident to get in touch.
