Job Vacancy: The Alcohol Forum Families Matter Division wish to recruit for the following position of:

Families Matter Project Worker – 6 Month Contract (Maternity Cover) 4 days per week

The Alcohol Forum Families Matter Division has an exciting opportunity for someone with passion and energy to take a proactive role in the development and implementation of a progressive service for young people and their families in the North West.

The Families Matter Project Worker will work with a range of statutory, voluntary and community agencies to successfully implement effective goal directed family skills, family support and advocacy programmes.

The successful candidate will have a third level qualification in Health, Community or Social sciences and/or three years paid experience in social care or family support setting. Applicants must provide evidence of paid work experience, of coordinating a project, experience of working with parents, young people and/or their families would be desirable

The post holder must hold a current/valid driving licence, have access to personal transport for business use and be available for an immediate start. Please note that the candidate must be flexible with regard to hours to be worked
