Gardai are circulating a poster around Letterkenny as their probe into the murder of Sebastian Adamowicz continues.

The posters, printed in English and Polish, are appealing for information on the murder of the 36-year-old Polish man.

Mr Adamowicz died in hospital as a result of serious head injuries sustained at his home in 15 Sylvan Park, Letterkenny, last Wednesday, November 1.

“We would like to hear from anyone who saw Sebastian on Wednesday 1st November,” Gardai say.

“We would also like to hear information about anyone Sebastian was in dispute with or anyone who may have wished to cause him harm.”

Yesterday, Detective Inspector Pat O’Donnell confirmed that searches for the weapon in hedgerows, wheelie bins and other areas uncovered a number of items which may be linked to the crime.

Gardai mounted a checkpoint at Gortlee yesterday and also questioned people on Letterkenny Main Street yesterday.

No arrests have been made in the investigation.
