Boxing – A Dozen bouts to dazzle at Dunfanaghy tournament

Dunfanaghy ABC have a dozen bouts down for decision tomorrow night when they stage a tournament at the Ozanam Centre.

A 12-bout card is slated as Eddie Harkin’s Dunfanaghy punchers take on the best of the rest from around Donegal.

The 2017 Irish Junior 2 champion Sean Kelly will be aiming for another win – this time upon his home canvas.

Kelly, who defeated Martin C McDonagh to win the Irish Junior 2 crown in April, overcame Raphoe’s former Irish champion Eoin McGarrell last Saturday at Deele College and will hope to continue the good 2017.

Bernie McDonagh won a Boy 1 title last year and will be looking to impress the locals here as he looks to make inroads again this season.

Sparks are sure to fly in the meeting of Dunfanaghy man Odhrán McGinley and Letterkenny’s improving Michael McConigley.

And an intriguing battle awaits in a female contest that pits Dunfanaghy’s Ciara Crag with ‘LIttle Miss Dynamite’ Chloe McDaid from the Illes Golden Gloves.
