Comb on down – it’s the annual BBobs Charity Day on Sunday!

It’s become a perm-anent fixture in the calendar in the last decade – and it’s time for the BBobs Charity Day once again!

This Sunday, Brigde Laver-Diver and her staff will throw open the doors of BBobs Hair Salon for their popular annual charity day.

This will be the eleventh staging of the Bbobs Charity Day, which has raised well over €50,000 for local charities in its previous ten years.

Customers will have their hair done by members of the B-Bobs team and others will arrive just to enjoy the warm welcome, the friendly chat and the fun that has helped make this day a cut above the rest.

Customers make a donation, which will be divided between the charities.

The Good and New Cancer Bus has been the prime beneficiary over the years.

Brigde also volunteers at the Good and New charity shop in Letterkenny and it is a charity that is close to her own heart.

This year, the Good and New Cancer Bus as well as local mental health charities will benefit from the proceeds.

Last November, the tenth annual BBobs Charity Day raised €3,600 with donations going to the Good and New Cancer Bus, Pieta House and the Letterkenny Neonatal Unit.

The day runs from 1-5pm this Sunday.
