Goal-crazy LyIT ladies score landslide home win over DCU

Letterkenny Institute of Technology ladies had a massive 28-point win over DCU this afternoon at O’Donnell Park.

The Port Road scholars were well on their way to a landslide win as they led 6-8 to 0-3 at half-time, with Aishleen McGuinness bagging a first-half hat-trick.

Termon woman Lucy O’Flynn helped herself to 2-3 in the opening half-an-hour with McGuinness scoring 3-2.

Nicole Gordon and Aishling Nee also got in on the act with goals while the in-form Sarah Jane McDonald hit 1-2 in the second half.

Emer Gallagher hit the other LyIT goal.

Clodagh Brogan scored both of DCU’s goals, but LyIT were in cruise control from start to finish.
