Mná Phort Mhaise, Magheroarty Women’s group based in the heart of the Gaeltacht, presented Majella O Donnell with a cheque for €827 yesterday at Ionad Mhachaire Rabhartaigh in aid ‘Cups Against Cancer 2017’ charity.
The money was raised at a coffee morning held in the centre and was well supported by the public.
The women would like to thank Majella for her attendance and for spending the morning with the group.
This group meet every Wednesday in Ionad Mhachaire Rabhartaigh and is open to women of all ages.
In the coming weeks the women will be learning; decoupage, felting Christmas Baking and arranging their Christmas trip.
The group would like to express their thanks to the ETB in supporting them with their courses.
