On the run Donegal businessman Jim Ferry has lodged a formal complaint with Donegal County Council over a fellow waste collector.

Ferry, who is being sought by the High Court after he absconded from court, sent an email to the council as well as local media outlets including Donegal Daily with his complaint.

Ferry claims the other businessman is behind a development on which there is allegedly no planning permission.

The other business has declined to comment on the allegations being made by Ferry and has never been accused of any wrongdoing.

In his letter to county manager Seamus Neely, Ferry demands “I am requesting that this unauthorised development be stopped.”

Ferry has been spotted at a number of locations and most recently in the Rosgier area of Lifford.
