McElhinneys of Ballybofey are set to unveil their much-anticipated Christmas windows this Sunday afternoon.

A fantastic family day out is planned for this special event and plenty of surprises are expected.

From 3-5pm, Ballybofey will be a festive celebration of music, family fun, prizes and entertainment.

An enchanted magical forest came to life in the stunning window display of 2016, while something even more creative, cultural and colourful is expected this time.

Over 20 McElhinneys team members, as well as many others in the staff force, helped put together an adventurous display in recent weeks. The planning, designing and creating began as far back as January.

The secret theme was inspired by all the travels of the McElhinneys team, with inspiration arising from key fashion trends of the season.

A wonderful crowd of families and friends are expected to come together this Sunday and admire the beautiful product of all their hard work.

McElhinneys have also collaborated with the local Chamber of Commerce this year, so the Twin Towns lights switch-on will coincide with the unveiling.

The event is set to be a great community gathering full of festive spirit. Mr Claus is said to be arriving in time for the magic moment too!
