An experienced accounts person is being sought to run the financial section of a busy car dealership in the Letterkenny area.
The successful candidate will report to the general manager and will be responsible for the following:
- Weekly reporting on sales
- Recording supplier invoices and maintaining creditor’s ledger
- Dealing with queries on supplier’s invoices, reconciling accounts and managing payment runs
- Resolving customer’s account queries
- Maintaining debtors ledger and credit control function
- Bank lodgements, direct debit payments and handling cash payments
- Preparation of VAT returns, P30 returns, Intrastat returns
- Preparation of Month end accounts
- Preparation of Month end Journals and bank reconciliations
- Dealing with and organising year end requirements for the Auditors
- Processing employee payroll
- Organising and managing company holiday requirements
- Pricing control and cash flow management
- Insurance renewal, van leasing, motor tax renewal
- Customer payment and managing credit terms for customer including administering rebates
- Customer analysis reporting
