McGettigan’s Hotel Letterkenny launched their first Christmas with a wonderful community celebration and lights switch-on on Friday night.
There was music, mince pies and mulled wine to keep everyone warm on the cold wintry night. A children’s choir from the Donegal Music Education Partnership created a lovely atmosphere of Christmas cheer before the big event.
Special guests were Santa Claus, Ballybofey boxer Jason Quigley and Finn Harps team members. Jason and Santa lit the big bright windows of the hotel, adding a spectacular sparkle to the top of the main street.
