Picture Special: Frances’ festive party celebrates 25 years at Mourne Antiques

Letterkenny businesswoman Frances Spears of Mourne Antiques and Amelia’s marked a major business milestone with a wonderful festive evening on Thursday last.

Customers new and old visited the two popular gift stores on Letterkenny Main Street to congratulate Frances, enjoy festive treats and browse her unique stock.

Frances enjoyed welcoming everyone to the shop and offered great discounts as a show of appreciation. She made time to cut her birthday cake though, which was a beautiful bespoke design by Mel Rodriguez Cakes.

Mourne Antiques began in Letterkenny back in 1992, when Frances moved her shop from Strabane to Letterkenny. Ever since, she has been sourcing one-of-a-kind pieces and beautiful gems, antique items and diamond jewellery for customers.

Mourne Antiques and Amelia’s will be top spots for Christmas presents this month, where you’re sure to find something with a story that a loved one will appreciate.

Amelia’s, Irish Design & Gifts celebrates Irish crafts from local makers and artists, so a gift from here is one that will bring delight to a loved one and also support the creative community.
