John Hutchinson wins in Australia after retirement reversal

John Hutchinson made a winning return in the early hours of Friday morning in Australia.

The ‘Buncrana Banger’ overcame Thai veteran Patooon Jaikon at the Dee Why RSL and appears set up for a busy 2018.

The 31-year-old’s winning return in Sydney comes after a recent reversal to his retirement plans.

Hutchinson is gearing up for a hectic 2019 in Asia. He has signed with Ringstar in Singapore and is also hoping of getting on a bill at the National Stadium in Dublin next March.

Hutchinson’s record will improve to 11-2-2 after his latest triumph, his first bout since a win over Pumat Saengprom in April and was his sixth successive win.
