Three goals inside fifteen minutes paved the way for a comfortable 4-2 victory for Glenea over Drumoghill.

It took less than a minute for the away side to score their first goal with Darren Ferry pouncing on a ball inside the area and slotting past Drumoghill keeper David Crawford.
Drumoghill thought they levelled soon after, but John O’Kane’s goal was dis-allowed as the striker was judged to be offside. Glenea were pushing hard to double their lead with Ciaran McGeady’s pace causing the Drumoghill back line problems
The second did arrive after 12 minutes, Lee O’Brien tucked away a Paddy Cannon cross after some fine work down the left-hand side. Glenea were full of confidence at this point and within two minutes they scored a third.
Ciaran McGeady reacted quickest to David Crawford’s save and slotted home. The away side were full value for their early lead playing some attractive football in the process. Christopher O’Donnell almost pulled one back for Drumoghill, but his header just went wide of the post.
John O’Kane earned Drumoghill a penalty just past the half-hour mark, Paddy Cannon was judged to have pushed O’Kane from a long throw-in. Liam O’Donnell calmly dispatched the resulting penalty to pull one back.
Another good save from Crawford denied Kevin Mulhern the chance to extend Glenea’s lead just before the break.
Ryan McFadden looked to have got Glenea’s fourth and sealed the game for his side just after the break but his goal from a Ciaran McGeady cross was judged offside.
Kevin Mulhern was the man who eventually got the fourth goal, turning neatly and finishing low and hard from just inside the box. Drumoghill began to push hard for a reply with Liam O’Donnell and Sean Cleary looking dangerous down the left-hand side.
It was Cleary who provided John O’Kane with a brilliant cross to get Drumoghill’s second of the game. The winger dribbled past his marker and cut the ball back from the by-line to O’Kane.
Drumoghill pushed hard in search of getting another goal but left themselves opened at the back. Darren Ferry almost got his sides fifth of the game ten minutes from the end, his strike beat the keeper but not the post.
Glenea seen the rest of the game out to take all three points back to Pairc Joe.
