Crime Alert: Gardai alerted after suspicious activity in Lifford

The public has been asked to keep a lookout for the movements of a silver VW Passat in the Lifford area.

The car, with a Northern registration containing four men, was spotted parked up at the entrance to a farm.

However, when approached the car sped off.

The car had been spotted in the Ballindrait area.

It is understood the registration plates may be false.
