A young Dungloe woman has been left outraged after her car was attacked outside home in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Christina Louise had her car attacked outside her home at the Gort na Mona estate between 4am and 9am.

The vandals attacked the front of the Toyota Altezza car and then tried to break parts of it off.

The badge on the boot of the car was also removed.

Gardai in Dungloe have been informed of the incident and are studying CCTV footage in the area in a bid to trace the vandals.

Christina said she is outraged by the attack on her property.

“You can’t seem to own anything these days without jealous people thinking they can just go around and smash it up just for the thrill of it,” she said.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Gardai in Dungloe.
