A water outage just outside the Letterkenny town centre has impacted on businesses and properties this morning (Tuesday).

A water main has burst near the Neil T Blaney Road, cutting water supplies to the Letterkenny Public Services Centre and surrounding buildings.

Irish Water have estimated that repair works will be completed by 3pm this afternoon.

Elsewhere, repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to Guystown and surrounding areas of Lifford.

A traffic management plan will be in place to facilitate works. Works have an estimated completion time of 2pm on 5 December.
