Trentagh jockey Martin Harley recorded two wins yesterday at Chelmsford.

Harley was abord wins on the 6/1 Global Academy and the 5/1 Mercury.

In the Nursery Handicap, Harley guided the Gay Kelleway-trained Global Academy to an unchallenged win. Moving five lengths clear well before the post, Global Academy stayed on for an impressive win.

In the Go Homes Land Handicap, Harley and Mercury, trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, chased the leaders and took the lead a furling from home. They held off the 9/4 favourite Pulsating for the win.

At the end of November, Harley was victorious on Delilah Park (6/1) at Wolverhampton and the 15/8 Hit The Beat at Lingfield.

Yesterday’s wins take Harley to 63 for the year.
