The annual Christmas Tree of Remembrance will be launched Tuesday morning 12th December at 11am in the Letterkenny Shopping Centre.
This tree is where patrons can dedicate a ribbon in honour of someone they want to remember now at this festive time.
This can bee it someone passed away, someone who is sick or away from home or just someone you particularly want to remember in this unique way while supporting worthwhile charities.
The nominated charities this year the St Vincent de Paul society, Pieta House and of course, Rotary International Charities.
Why not drop down to the Shopping Centre & find the Christmas Tree in the centre aisle & take a few minutes to remember someone with a Yellow Ribbon and making a small donation?
In doing so, you will be helping raise money for worthy causes. The Tree will be manned by volunteers from the Rotary Club as well as the charities, ably assisted by Transition Students from the local third level institutions in Letterkenny and will be in operation right up to Christmas Eve around 3pm.
