Sean MacCumhaills have announced a new manager for their senior football team for 2018.

Following the departure of Stephen Friel after a season at the helm, MacCumhaills have turned to former senior player Bernard McGeehan – pictured by Chris Doherty – to steer the ship.

McGeehan is a former Donegal U21 footballer who scored the winning point for MacCumhaills in the 2004 Donegal SFC semi-final against Gaoth Dobhair.

McGeehan, who was on Friel’s backroom team in 2017, has managed the MacCumhaills Reserves and now takes the senior reigns.
