Mona McSharry will be in 100m breaststroke action tomorrow at the European Short Course Swimming Championships.
The Marlins Swimming Club, Ballyshannon woman reached the 50m breaskstroke semi-final yesterday.
Today in Copenhagen, the Grange native swam a lifetime best 1:01.90 in the 100m individual medley, finishing seventh in her heat.
Also today, McSharry, along with Danielle Hill, Conor Brines and Calum Bain came sixth in the senior mixed medal relay heat – the first time Ireland were represented in the event on the international stage.
McSharry, who won a World Junior gold medal this year in Indianapolis, also has the 200m breaststroke on Saturday to look forward to.
