Buncrana girl Eilí Ní Dhómhnaill Tedstone, aged 8, is in the running to win an early Christmas gift for her entire class – but she needs the public’s help to do it.
The 2nd class pupil at Scoil Íosagáin, Buncrana is a finalist in an art competition with the Richmond Shopping Centre in Derry. If she wins, she gets to take all her 25 classmates on a trip to the pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk. There is much excitement and hope among the class at the prospect of winning the tickets.
Eilí’s handdrawn picture on Facebook needs to be the most liked and shared in order for her to win. Voters have to act fast too, as the competition closes at 5pm today (Thursday).
