Ahead of their big Christmas rush, Santa has decided to give Rudolph some rest – and has turned to the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, from DMG Motors in Donegal Town, to get around!

Santa is using the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross as he prepares to visit the boys and girls around the world this Christmas.

The all-new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will be available to Irish customers from €27,900 and goes on sale in January 2018.

Santa has already given the Eclipse Cross the thumbs up after a test-drive in the Donegal snow this week as our exclusive video below shows.

Developed with a focus on three core areas – inspiring design, driving dynamics and advanced technology – Mitsubishi’s new mid-sized SUV will be available in three trim levels – Eclipse Cross Invite, Eclipse Cross Intense and Eclipse Cross Instyle.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 1.5L Turbo Petrol 163PS AS&G 2WD Invite is available with manual transmission and starts from €27,900. The level of specification on this entry model is exceptional, including Smartphone Link Audio Display supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Touchpad Controller, Reversing Camera, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and rear seat passengers benefit from Sliding rear seats (200mm) with an 8 step recline.

Excellent safety features include Forward Collision Mitigation System, Lane Departure Warning system, LED Daytime Running Lights and 7 airbags, all of which helped to secure a 5-star NCAP safety rating with excellent overall performance.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Intense is available in Manual and CVT Automatic versions, from €29,900 and €32,400 respectively. Intense model specification include all the Eclipse Cross Invite specification features as well as a Heads Up Display system, 18” alloy wheels, Keyless Operation System, Rearview Camera with 8 spot parking sensors, dual zone air conditioning and electronic brake auto hold (CVT model).

Completing the Eclipse Cross range is the Eclipse Cross Instyle – again available in Manual and CVT Automatic transmissions, from €34,900 and €37,400. These models feature all the before mentioned specification as well as Leather Seats and electric, heated front seats, Premium Rockford Fosgate Audio system, Panoramic Glass Sunroof, Multi-around Monitor, Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Lane Change Assist (LCA), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Adaptive Cruise Control on CVT models.

Later in 2018 the Eclipse Cross will be available with 2.2 DiD 4WD Automatic version.

The All New Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross also has an 8 Year / 150,000km Warranty and 5 years Mitsubishi Assistance Package (MAP) for cover roadside assistance and breakdown cover in Ireland and Europe.
