Emergency services are attending the scene of a serious road accident which occurred overnight in Inishowen.
The road has been closed as authorities work in the area. A notice has been issued to morning motorists to avoid the R238 at Rockhead Burnfoot. The road is closed until further notice.
Diversions are in place: Motorists coming from Buncrana should divert via Backhill road via Tieveban to Burnfoot village.
Those travelling to Buncrana are asked to divert via Watery road onto Dispensary road at Tooban.
HGV traffic should divert via Carn, Quigleys Point, Muff.
