Over 1,200 Inishowen properties affected by power cut

A power outage has hit properties in various locations of the Inishowen peninsula today, affecting over 1,200 ESB customers.

The unplanned outage which occurred after 1pm is due to a fault. Homes and businesses near Muff, Quigleys Point and Buncrana have been affected.

ESB service workers are currently carrying out repair works. It is estimated that power will be restored by 5pm today.

Customers can follow ESB Powercheck at esb.ie for updates.
