Can you help us reunite this dog with his owner in time for Christmas?

An appeal has been launched to find the owner of a dog found in Letterkenny, with the hopes that he can be reunited with his owner just in time for Christmas.

He was found by the old Dunnes Stores in Letterkenny last night.

The man that found the dog, Michael, says: “He was there earlier in the evening so I watched him for a while to see if he went home and he didn’t.”

He adds that the dog is very friendly and very used to people, and it is clear that he is someone’s beloved pet.

The dog is black with a white spot on the back of his neck and has a white breast. He also had a white tip on his tail and white paws.

He has a collar but unfortunately there is no name tag attached.

Michael is now bringing the dog to the vets to check for a microchip.

If you know who owns this dog please get in touch with Michael on 087 2657034 or email info@donegaldaily.com.
